Double-hook electric hoist means that the same drum has two lower hooks. This type of hoist drum has a blank in the middle, and the ropes are wound on both sides. The commonly-said double-rope electric hoist generally refers to this type, mostly referring to single ropes on both sides.

Double-hook double-point electric hoist on the market The so-called double-point wire rope electric hoist refers to an electric hoist with two lifting points at a certain distance, which can rise or fall at the same time. The existing double-point wire rope electric hoist has a set of hook pulley devices at both ends of the wire rope electric hoist drum. This double-point electric hoist can ensure that the two lifting points rise and fall at the same time because the two sets of hook pulley devices are lifted or lowered by one drum;

Another method is to install the reducer ends of the two electric hoists opposite to each other, add a set of transmission gears and output shafts outside the reducer, and use couplings and intermediate shafts to connect the transmissions of the two electric hoists together to achieve the purpose of synchronization of the two electric hoists.

The former double-hanging-point electric hoist is restricted by the length of the drum and cannot meet the requirements of large lifting height and large distance between the two hanging points; the latter has a complex structure and needs to be equipped with a torque limiter, and it is difficult to ensure the balance of the intermediate transmission shaft when the distance between the two hanging points is large. Because the electric hoist swings during use, it causes the intermediate transmission shaft to vibrate during operation.
